🔍 Step 1: How to Check NPCI Aadhaar Mapping Status Online
Follow these steps to know which bank account is currently mapped with your Aadhaar for DBT:
- Visit the NPCI official website.
- Click on the “Consumer” section in the top menu.
- Choose “Bharat Aadhaar Seeding Enabler (BASE)”.
- A new tab will open.
- In that page, click on “Check Aadhaar Mapping Status”.
- Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number.
- Enter the Captcha code shown on the screen.
- Click “Check Status”.
- You will receive an OTP on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
- Enter the OTP to proceed.
- The portal will now show you the bank account currently mapped to your Aadhaar in NPCI.
🔁 Step 2: How to Link or Change Aadhaar–Bank Account Seeding (Re-Seeding)
If your current NPCI-mapped bank is wrong, or you want to receive benefits into a different bank account, follow these steps:
- On the same BASE portal, choose the “Aadhaar Seeding/De-seeding” option.
- Enter your Aadhaar number.
- Select the action as “Seeding”.
- Choose your bank name from the dropdown list.
- Enter your bank account number two times (to confirm).
- Enter the Captcha shown on the screen.
- Click Submit.
- An OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile.
- Enter the OTP and click Verify.
