Are you waiting for government schemes like PM-Kisan, LPG subsidy, NREGA payments, Thalliki vandanam or pensions? Then make sure your bank account is correctly linked with Aadhaar and mapped in NPCI. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you link Aadhaar with your bank account through the official NPCI platform and check the mapping status online.

🔍 Step 1: How to Check NPCI Aadhaar Mapping Status Online

Follow these steps to know which bank account is currently mapped with your Aadhaar for DBT:

  1. Visit the NPCI official website.
  2. Click on the “Consumer” section in the top menu.
  3. Choose “Bharat Aadhaar Seeding Enabler (BASE)”.
  4. A new tab will open.
  5. In that page, click on “Check Aadhaar Mapping Status”.
  6. Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number.
  7. Enter the Captcha code shown on the screen.
  8. Click “Check Status”.
  9. You will receive an OTP on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
  10. Enter the OTP to proceed.
  11. The portal will now show you the bank account currently mapped to your Aadhaar in NPCI.

🔁 Step 2: How to Link or Change Aadhaar–Bank Account Seeding (Re-Seeding)

If your current NPCI-mapped bank is wrong, or you want to receive benefits into a different bank account, follow these steps:

  1. On the same BASE portal, choose the “Aadhaar Seeding/De-seeding” option.
  2. Enter your Aadhaar number.
  3. Select the action as “Seeding”.
  4. Choose your bank name from the dropdown list.
  5. Enter your bank account number two times (to confirm).
  6. Enter the Captcha shown on the screen.
  7. Click Submit.
  8. An OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile.
  9. Enter the OTP and click Verify.

Once successful, your new bank account will be seeded and mapped for DBT through NPCI.

📌 Important Notes

  • You must have a mobile number linked to Aadhaar to receive the OTP.
  • Only one bank account can be actively mapped in NPCI at a time.
  • Government benefits will be sent only to the latest seeded and mapped bank account.
