Follow these steps to check rice (ration) card details on Andhra Pradesh's EPDS portal.
- Open the official portal: Click the Search Rice Card Details button above (or open
https://epds1.ap.gov.in/epdsAP/epds/rationcardsearch.epds) to go to the AP EPDS Ration Card Search page. - Select search method: On the search page you will see options such as Ration Card No, Family Member Name or other filters. Choose the one you prefer (usually Ration Card No gives the fastest result).
- Choose your district/mandal/ village (if required): Some searches require selecting District, Mandal and Village/Ward. Pick the correct options from the dropdown menus to narrow the search.
- Enter details: Type the ration card number, or family member name, or other requested fields into the input box. Double-check for spelling or number mistakes.
- Complete captcha (if shown): If the site asks for a captcha, type the characters exactly as shown and click Verify.
- Click Search: Press the search button on the portal. Wait a few seconds while the site processes your request.
- View results: The portal will display the ration card details — family members, card type, address, fair price shop (FPS) linked, and card status. If nothing appears, re-check the information entered or try another search method.
- Download or capture: To keep a record, use the portal’s Print/Download option if available, or take a screenshot and save it. You can also print the page as PDF from your browser (File → Print → Save as PDF).
- Contact helpline (if data is incorrect): If the details are wrong or missing, contact the local Ration Office / Tahsildar or use the AP Civil Supplies helpline. Keep your ID and supporting documents handy when you visit or call.

- Use the exact spelling used in official documents for names to improve search accuracy.
- If the site is slow or not loading, try again after some time or use a different browser.
- Keep your ration card or Aadhaar details ready when contacting officials.
